Marcia and Bill's Story

The Alaskans at Cooper Landing was developed by husband and wife Bill and Marcia Coulson. After years of international travel, the Coulsons, both business leaders based out of Fort Collins, CO fell in love with Cooper Landing and knew they wanted to put down roots. Bill, an accomplished fly fisherman, has cast his line all over the world – from Russia to South America to New Zealand and back again. But, as Bill explains, there is no other place quite like the Kenai River and Cooper Landing, Alaska. He describes the area as “one of the most peaceful and expansive places in the world.” On the Kenai Peninsula, you get to observe nature in its purest form. Your senses come alive here, in ways you’ve never experienced before – from the views, to the wildlife, to the purity of the air and water. As Marcia says, “You’re not holding your breath here; you’re connecting with it, deeply.”
